As Transportation Electrification Analyst at the University of Washington I managed electrification projects for the university fleet of about 700 vehicles, from planning to delivery.
What the work covered
- Three capital projects worth over $2 million in total: 40 Level 2 chargers on the N-26 parking lot, 80 Level 2 chargers on the E-2 parking lot and a 100 kW solar canopy on the E-18 parking lot.
- The first Fleet Services Annual Report and the UW Fleet Electrification Plan — the documents the university now plans replacements against.
- A ten-year vehicle replacement schedule and daily mileage analysis, used to decide which vehicles switch to electric first.
- Tax credits and grant opportunities tracked for every electrification project, plus a monthly Fleet Services electrification meeting with campus decision-makers.
